After you apply, please call so the Advocates for Disability can begin the process of monitoring your claim. We will be more than happy to assist you. |

In Person: You will need to first locate your local office. You can do this by clicking on the link and entering your zip code. Once, you have located your local office, simply go there and will speak with a claim representative and they will begin your claim for you. |

On the internet: Click on the following link: apply for disability online, and that will connect you with ssa.gov and you will simply follow the instructions and answer their questions. |
***Once you have applied, you will receive forms in the mail from the Social Security Administration. You will need to complete these forms as best you can and then send the forms back to us. Do not send any paperwork directly to the Social Security Administration. This is very important. Your application paperwork will need to be thoroughly reviewed to ensure that you get all the benefits that you are entitled to.***
The first step in applying is very easy. However, completing the application paperwork, which is the second step in applying, is more difficult.
